NEXT SHOW!
Our next show is on Sunday, October 3rd, 2010; our judge for this show will be
MR. David Walbert.
Each show progresses at its own pace depending on many factors including, but
not limited to, the number of participants in a class, the judge's preferences
(i.e., the number and mix of commands, patterns, etc.) and so on. Cherokee
Raider shows will begin promptly at 9 AM. There will be a 1/2 hour lunch break
immediately after the conclusion of the Western classes. English classes will
begin immediately after the lunch break but no earlier than 12 noon. It is the
participant's responsibility to be at the gate when his/her class is called; if
a pattern is involved, it is the rider’s responsibility to know that pattern.

Ms. Britt Somers and staff continue to take some awesome pictures at our shows.
There are many quality photos to choose from and they are reasonably priced.
Please take a few moments to look through Britt's work to find your favorite
horse and/or rider!
FUN SHOW
The fun show on October 17Th will benefit of Angel Acres Horse Haven Rescue. A
revised class list will be forthcoming! Casual attire will be allowed. Class
entry will be $10 per class. NO points will be awarded toward the end-of-year
standings. There will be more details to follow!
BANQUET
The End-of-year Awards Banquet will be held at the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire
Hall on Friday, November 12th. Please mark your calendar
One notable change in the format of the Banquet – THERE WILL NOT BE A DOOR
PRIZE TABLE! If, in the past, you have donated to the prize table, we ask that
you consider a monetary donation to the Cherokee Raiders Scholarship Fund.
